Weller Big Boy Toys is always thinking of a better way to make our products more versatile. There is no one way of designing a JIG-OR-NAUT that works in all situations but through our customer feedback we are doing our best to meet your needs.

Our trigger arm is 13 inches long, able to fit most ice fishing rods but there are exceptions, for example: Some customers are using longer rods to catch lake trout. So we have included an extra trigger mount so that if you need a longer rod you can customize the unit for your specific rod. All you need is a length of rod not to exceed 22 inches. The rod is ¼ inch in diameter . We suggest you purchase the rod at LOWES, Home Depot, wherever they sell ¼ inch aluminum rods. They are cheap and available for around $5.00. Once you determine length just JB weld the included trigger mount to the end and remove trigger and trigger arm from the rod assembly and reinstall on your new customized rod. Just that easy!
